Everybody Coinbase
The idea
Turn a familiar boy-band chorus into a deliberately cheap karaoke ad that anyone can complete before the brand appears.
Timeless principle
When the audience already knows the form, change only the words that carry the brand.
Why it works
The spot rejects the usual cinematic scale of a Big Game commercial and uses the grammar of a cheap karaoke video instead. Viewers already know how to read the highlighted words, call-and-response pauses and rising chorus, so participation begins before the brand argument does. Rewriting a familiar song turns ‘everybody’ into both the hook and the inclusion claim. The crude graphics are not decoration; they make the ad easy to imitate, quote and continue. Almost every production choice serves the same mnemonic, leaving the Coinbase name as the final lyric.
