Timeless principle

When product anxiety is the barrier, let the least qualified possible user demonstrate how easy the task can be.

The idea

Put an adult investor’s voice into a baby buying stock from his high chair, making online trading look simple enough for literally anyone.

Why it works

Online investing carried the authority and anxiety of an adult financial category. The campaign replaces that expected expert with a baby speaking in a dry grown-up voice from a webcam. In “Baby Trading,” one click buys stock before the bodily punchline breaks the demonstration; the absurd casting makes ease visible before the copy has to claim it. The crude webcam framing is important: it feels like an accidental internet clip, not polished brokerage advertising, which helped the character travel beyond the Super Bowl spot. Across the series, the same mismatch stays useful because each new product feature can be explained by someone who should not plausibly understand any of it.
