Timeless principle
When a brand value is abstract, find two real lives whose contrasting actions form one continuous visual argument.
The idea
Merge Auguste Piccard’s balloon ascent and Jacques Piccard’s bathyscaphe descent into one continuous father-and-son journey through opposite extremes.
Why it works
The film turns two separate expeditions into one vertical movement. A balloon climbs beyond the clouds, the image pivots, and the son’s bathyscaphe continues toward the ocean floor as if ambition were passing through the frame between generations. Daniel Wolfe avoids a conventional historical biography; fragments of machinery, bodies and impossible landscapes make the achievements feel remembered rather than reconstructed. That abstraction gives Hennessy’s Wild Rabbit metaphor—an inner drive that keeps moving—an unusually specific human form. The product barely interrupts the journey because the father-and-son structure already carries the brand argument: pursuit can be inherited without being repeated.
