Timeless principle

Show the habit of mind that produces the product, using an object anyone can understand.

The idea

Make everyday objects reveal the curiosity behind the engineering.

Why it works

A perfume bottle filled with oil makes an engineer’s enthusiasm visible before the copy explains it. The banana goes further: writing directly on its skin turns a familiar object into a small experiment. The stamp gives invention a practical destination, the patent office. Each page begins with something ordinary and changes how we see it. The conversational copy invites curiosity rather than listing automotive specifications. Together, the ads give Honda a recognizable way of thinking that can connect engineering, imagination and the pleasure of making something work.

Both make Honda’s curiosity tangible: an everyday object carries the print idea, while working parts carry the film.
